Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of homerenovation.com.sg ("the Site") and any renovation services provided by Home Reno Pte Ltd (UEN 201000107N) ("Home Reno", "we", "our", or "us"). By using the Site or engaging Home Reno for renovation services, you ("Customer", "you") agree to these Terms.

These are standard renovation-contractor terms, published here for transparency. They are not a substitute for legal advice.

1. Services

Home Reno provides renovation services for HDB flats, condominium units, landed properties, and commercial premises in Singapore. The scope, specifications, and timeline of any renovation project are governed by a written Renovation Contract executed between Home Reno and the Customer. These Terms supplement, but do not replace, that contract.

2. Quotations and Pricing

All quotations are valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Prices displayed on the Site are illustrative and may vary based on site conditions, material selections, and project scope. The final price is fixed only when a Renovation Contract is signed by both parties.

Home Reno is not registered for Goods and Services Tax (GST) and does not charge GST on its services.

3. Payment

Payment terms are specified in the Renovation Contract and typically follow a milestone-based schedule. Late payment may attract interest at a rate of 1.5% per month on overdue amounts.

4. Project Timelines

Indicative project timelines are provided at the quotation stage and finalised in the Renovation Contract. Timelines are subject to factors including site readiness, material availability, third-party approvals (HDB / BCA / MCST as applicable), and circumstances beyond Home Reno's reasonable control.

5. Variations and Change Orders

Any variation to the agreed scope of work must be requested in writing and confirmed in a written Change Order before being implemented. Variations may affect the project price and timeline.

6. Warranties

Home Reno provides a defect liability period of twelve (12) months from the date of project handover for workmanship defects. Manufacturer warranties for fixtures, appliances, and finishes are passed through to the Customer at handover.

This warranty does not cover wear and tear, damage caused by improper use or maintenance, or alterations made by parties other than Home Reno.

7. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Home Reno's liability under any Renovation Contract is limited to the contract price of the affected project. Home Reno is not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of profit, or loss of business opportunity.

8. Cancellation

Cancellation terms are specified in the Renovation Contract. Deposits paid prior to commencement may be non-refundable in part or in full, subject to costs already incurred by Home Reno on the Customer's behalf.

9. Dispute Resolution

Home Reno is accredited under the CaseTrust-RCMA Joint Accreditation Scheme (Certificate No. 046/2023). Disputes that cannot be resolved through direct negotiation may be referred to the CaseTrust mediation process before any other legal action is taken.

10. Privacy

Personal information collected through the Site is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy .

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
